“The Parables of Lent”

a special series of worship services for the season of Lent. Each service in this series focuses on a biblical parable that connects to Lenten themes.

This Wednesday (March 4th), we will learn about the parable of

the Hidden Treasure and the Priceless Pearl.

In this parable, two men give all that they have to buy objects of great worth.

The service includes readings from Scripture, a sermon and thematic hymns

that help us to remember that we who are priceless to Christ

receive Him who gave all that He had to call us His own.

Join us Wednesdays during Lent for dinner at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall

and at 7:00 p.m. for worship.

Welcome to Bethlehem Lutheran Church - Delmar, New York

Our Mission: To reach out to all people and bring them into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.

For Bethlehem Lutheran Church, this isn't just our motto, but it's the core reason for our existence and the focus of everything we do. We are here for you because Jesus Christ is here for you!

Bethlehem Lutheran Church is congregation affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod who is firmly committed to the ministry of Jesus Christ in Delmar, New York, in the greater Capital District, and in the world. As the Body of Christ we are challenged to reassess the application of our discipleship to meet the changing needs of our congregation, community, and world.

Located in suburban Albany, our members come from communities all around the Capital District. As an active part of our communities, we are involved with many local ministries. Through our national and international connections, we are able to spread the Good News and meet human needs throughout the world.

We are happy the Lord has led you to our web site and pray that it is a blessing for you. We hope that you will join us real soon so that we can share our love for Jesus with you.

Daily Verse

John 15:5,8
“?I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. This is to my Father?s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”
