DID YOU RECEIVE A NOTE WITH AN ENCOURAGING WORD?... PDF Print E-mail

...if you did, we would love to share with you why.

We know life can be challenging.
We also know that everyone, no matter how well their life seems to be put together, needs encouragement.
We are hoping to add a little encouragement into your life.

One of the men who walked and talked with Jesus 2000 years ago wrote this, "We love each other because he (Jesus) loved us first".  We want to encourage you, not because we have life all figured out, but because we have the love of one who fulfills all of our deepest needs and answers our most profound questions...JESUS.  We believe that Jesus, in love, gave His life for us despite who we are.

We hope that the simple note you received was an encouragement to you.  We would love to be more than just a note...let us know how we can pray for you or how we can support you in other ways.

Our Mission: To reach out to all people and bring them into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.

For Bethlehem Lutheran Church, this isn't just our motto, but it's the core reason for our existence and the focus of everything we do. We are here for you because Jesus Christ is here for you!

Bethlehem Lutheran Church is congregation affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod who is firmly committed to the ministry of Jesus Christ in Delmar, New York, in the greater Capital District, and in the world. As the Body of Christ we are challenged to reassess the application of our discipleship to meet the changing needs of our congregation, community, and world.

We are a diverse congregation made up of people from different communities, ages, backgrounds, and occupations. Our congregation seeks to serve people of all ages, offering programs and ministries from birth through retirement. Christian education, fellowship, service, and caring ministries are offered to everyone, seeking to meet the diverse needs of people living in the 21st century.

Located in suburban Albany, our members come from communities all around the Capital District. As an active part of our communities, we are involved with many local ministries. Through our national and international connections, we are able to spread the Good News and meet human needs throughout the world.

We are happy the Lord has led you to our web site and pray that it is a blessing for you. We hope that you will join us real soon so that we can share our love for Jesus with you.

Daily Verse

John 15:5,8
“?I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. This is to my Father?s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”
