The Purpose of Fellowship - I think sometimes we forget that sharing time in fellowship is a vital part of our walk as a Christian.  It is enriching and uplifting to share these special times together – to laugh together, to play together, and of course, to share a meal together.  This time together not only refreshes us, but also strengthens us so that we can all be about our Father’s business.

Easter Fellowship was just delightful.  So many of you brought something yummy to share and stayed to share the joy of the risen Christ with your brothers and sisters in Christ!  Alleluia!  He is risen!

May Events:

Fruit Social - The next Social is Sunday May 13th.  Bring your fruit filled dessert - banana bread, cherry cobbler, pineapple upside-down cake.  You get the idea!  So be creative and bring your fruit-filled favorite (sliced and ready to serve please) to share. Plan to stay a while after both services to have some yummy desserts and enjoy some time in fellowship with your brothers and sisters in Christ!  

Grease Sing-A-Long Movie Event - Monday, May 14th at 7:00 PM at the Palace Theater!  Come dressed as your favorite character from the movie and prepare to sing along with all of your favorite songs.  Transport yourself back in time to the 1950s; dust off your poodle-skirt and saddle shoes and prepare to enjoy “Grease” on the big screen as it was meant to be enjoyed!  Bulk rate tickets at a rate of just $6.00 have been reserved.  To get one of these reserved tickets, please make your check payable to Debbie Dowen, label it “Grease Sing-a-Long” and put it in the Fellowship Mailbox in the committee work room.  E-mail questions to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Coming in June:

Church Picnic Time! – On Sunday, June 3rd, after the 10:30 services, we will have a picnic (rain or shine).  We will provide hot dogs, hamburgers as well as beverages.  If you could each bring a salad, side dish, or a dessert to share, and then plan to stay for this fun time of fellowship.  Hope to see you there! 

Summer Breakfasts – Beginning Sunday, June 17th, it is time for Summer Breakfasts again, where the menu is DONUTS!  Muffins and bagels, cereal and juice too!  Please come each Sunday during the summer at 9AM to enjoy breakfast as well as time in fellowship!
