Sunday School resumes on September 9th at 9:15 with classes for Toddlers (age 2) through High School. We hope your family will join us for another exciting year of studying God’s Word and learning what new lessons He has in store for us. “Give Me Jesus” is this year’s theme for the elementary level children. There will be Bible lessons and fun activities to help your children discover both what the Bible teaches and how it relates to them today.
Toddlers to Fifth Graders meet at 9:15 in the Sanctuary for an opening program. After the opening, the children and their teachers go to their classrooms for Bible lessons and activities. (Please note: the Toddler class is designed as a parent/child learning experience so a parent or other adult should plan to attend with each toddler.)
Sixth Grade through High School meets in the Parish Hall from 9:15 to 10:15 for Bible studies that encourage students to discover and discuss what the Bible says about everyday issues experienced by teens and preteens. What does the Bible teach about popularity, friendship, rules and more? Come to Sunday School and learn how to find the answers in the Bible!!
Children’s Sunday: On September 30th, during the 10:30 service, the 3rd graders will receive their Bibles and 6th graders their Luther’s Small Catechism. A reception will be held afterwards in the Fellowship Hall with cake, cookies, and punch. Parents of 3rd and 6th graders will receive more information in early September about their participation on Children’s Sunday.
