During the month of December, the Call Committee interviewed three potential candidates for the assistant pastor position. After the interviews, one of these pastors removed himself from consideration, and the committee felt that, while very gifted pastors, the remaining candidates were not good matches for BLC.
The Committee reconvened after the first of the year and has decided to move forward with an inquiry to the LCMS seminary in St. Louis. Over the next month, we will receive and review potential candidates from the seminary. It is our hope to have completed this review prior to the end of February.
