SIGN UP FOR THE TOUR OF SUNY NANOSCALE ENGINEERING CENTER! PDF Print E-mail

Have you ever driven by and wondered what goes on in the SUNY Nanoscale Engineering Center at Fuller Road and Washington Avenue Extension?  Here’s your chance to take a tour and see for yourselves what folks do inside those intriguing glass structures and what is planned for the new building under construction.  On Thursday, April 9 @ 10:00 a.m., the Seniors’ Ministry Team has arranged a visit for members of the congregation who might be interested.  There is no cost for this tour.

The tour begins with an information session, followed by an opportunity to stroll the hallways and observe the scientists and technicians at work.  A knowledgeable guide will take us through portions of the facility, describe what is happening, and be ready to answer questions from the group. The program will last about an hour; elevators are available for those who have difficulty with stairs.  Car pools leaving from the church at 9:30 AM will be available for those who indicate this preference.  Those wanting to travel directly to the facility may do that too. Those who would like to meet for lunch somewhere after the tour with members of the group should make those arrangements on their own.

Sign-up sheets are in the front foyer of the church until April 5.  No registrations can be taken after that date at the request of the tour organizer at the Center.

For questions about this tour, please see Dorothy Schultz, call her @ 458-7231, or contact her at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

BIBLE STUDIES DURING THE WEEK PDF Print E-mail

Women’s Monday Night Bible Study -

The Monday Night Women's Bible study will be starting a new 8-week study on March 30th. We will be reading and studying God's Word and Max Lucado's book Before Amen.  Here is an excerpt from the book.  “Prayer is not a privilege for the pious, not the art of a chosen few.  Prayer is simply the heartfelt conversation between God and His child.  My friend, He wants to talk to you.  Even now, as you read these words, He taps at the door.  Open it. Welcome Him in.”

This study was prayerfully designed to help us connect with God, discover our confidence in our God-given prayer strength, overcome disappointment in unanswered prayer, and trust that God hears us, and will calm the chaos of the world so that we can find peace and rest.  Please contact Kayt Marra 439-7451 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it if you are interested in attending so that we can order books as soon as possible.  We are hoping and praying to see you there!

Women’s Saturday Morning Bible Study -

Join us in exploring the power of the words we speak through the "Speaking Wisely" study guide by Poppy Smith.  We will learn what the Bible has to say about the power of words to harm relationships and to hinder God’s work in our own lives as well as helping us cultivate words of encouragement, love and praise to God.  Each lesson is complete on its own.   There are extra study guides so please join us when you can.   We usually meet in the Overflow Room from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month.  Occasionally we will meet in the home of Linda Dunkerley.  Contact Linda Dunkerley at 439-7202 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Daily Verse

John 15:5,8
“?I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. This is to my Father?s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”
