The Community Care Ministry Team continues to celebrate “The 12 Months of Alpha” in order to help support the efforts of the Alpha Pregnancy Care Center. For the month of May, we are asking for hooded towels and washcloths. These can be left in the Committee Workroom in the Alpha basket. We are still collecting coupons for baby items as well. • May 26th - Memorial Day Weekend - Sunday School students through 6th grade will enjoy a movie complete with popcorn during the Sunday School hour. Everyone should meet in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 9:15 for both the opening and the movie.
• June 2nd and 9th - Sunday School will meet as usual both weeks. Plan to attend the 10:30 service on June 9th when the Sunday School classes from Toddler to 5th Grade will be singing the books of the Bible song they have learned this year. The students have practiced learning the names of all 66 books of the Bible and are excited to share this song with you.
• June 16th – Awards Breakfast - A special celebration of the past year with breakfast and awards. Students through 8th grade will meet in the Fellowship Hall at 9:15 and sit with their classes for the program. Our Middle School students will be helping the younger classes by serving the cereal, milk, and juice.

CRAFT CONNECTION - MEETING TIME AND INFO
Thursday, May 30TH – 6:30 p.m.
May’s creations include “yo-yo” projects! (Not the yo-yo’s that you played with as a child) If you can use a pair of scissors, this is for you! We have the supplies; we just need your helping hands! Our second project will be “Microwave Bowl Cozies”; we think these will be a big seller! Come and join us for one or more sessions. Samples of what we are making are on the Senior Ministry table in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your lunch. Any questions please contact the church office (439-4328).

EXPRESS DELIVERY TO NICARAGUA - We have a great opportunity to get needed supplies to the children at Centro Escolar in Nicaragua when Darren, Claire, Leah and Margaret Triller go to visit the Tingles in June. The Trillers are happy to carry one-way suitcases with them.
Here is what we will be collecting…
One-way suitcases (extras will be used in October)
Crayola crayons 8 to a box
Crayola Markers – washable, for young children
Glue – stick or Elmer’s school glue
Small scissors
Sheets of craft foam
AND
Dollars for 8x11 dry erase boards (we can order in bulk on line from a school supply company – each pack of 36 costs $90)
Do you want to help? We will be collecting your contributions the first two weeks of June so start shopping and let’s fill those one way suitcases!
NICARAGUA TEAM 2013 – We have a team of Goers – 16 people have volunteered to travel to Managua in October to help at the Centro Escolar. Their first training meeting is May 28th. Wayne and Megan Tingle are looking forward to working with another team from BLC. You can join the team as Senders and Prayers.
