BLC BOOK GROUP PDF Print E-mail

The next meeting of the Book Group will be on Wednesday, May 10th at 7:00 PM in the Lounge. All are invited to attend.  Our book choice to discuss is Death is My Neighbour by British novelist Colin Dexter.  All are invited to attend.  This book, one of the Inspector Morse series, is for mystery lovers.  Was the bullet that kills a young woman in her home meant for another?  Is the murder tied to an upcoming election?  Complications abound for our brilliant detective, Chief Inspector Morse.  There are ten hard copies plus two large print versions in the Library System; however, you will need to reserve your copy because BPL does not own the book.

Daily Verse

Philippians 2:5-8
“In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death? even death on a cross!”
