The Psalms

The Book of Psalms has been the prayer book and hymnal of God's People since the days of King David. Martin Luther wrote that it "embraces everything in the entire Bible", and he understood it as a Christ-centered book. This study will show how the Psalms give voice to most every emotion, including praise, thanksgiving, repentance, lament, and trust in God's steadfast love. 

We will meet in the Lounge at 9:45 AM starting Sunday, September 13th.  Led by Pastor Russ.

Women’s Monday Night at 7:00 pm beginning September 14, 2026

Bad Girls of the Bible and What We Can Learn From Them

Wait! What? There are bad girls in the Bible?! Should we be studying them? Yes, there are, and yes, we should. All ladies are warmly invited to come to the church lounge on Monday evenings to learn about some of these infamous sisters, the choices they made, how we can learn what not to do, and about God’s constant love and offer of forgiveness. We’re starting on September 14th at 7pm. We’ll watch a DVD with beloved Bible study leader Liz Curtis Higgs, and then have a time of reflection and discussion. “With her trademark humor and encouragement, Higgs combines a contemporary retelling of the stories of these “other women” in Scripture with a solid, verse-by-verse study to teach us how to avoid their tragic mistakes and joyfully embrace grace. Let these Bad Girls show you why studying the Bible has never been more fun!” Please feel free to come a little early to catch up with each other. We hope to see you there!

“How We Got The Bible”

A Rose Publishing DVD study with Dr. Timothy Paul Jones, a celebrated Christian scholar and author.

We will explore how we got the Old and New Testaments, how we know the Bible is reliable and many other questions that may be on our hearts and in our minds.
